MD Lim Teng Chyuan presentation at CPHI Kuala Lumpur
Mr Lim was invited by CPHI to present on the topic: Strategies for pharmaceutical import and market access in Malaysia. The event took place at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) on the 17th of July 2025. Mr Lim was acting in his capacity the President of Malaysian Association of Pharmaceutical Suppliers (MAPS).
MD Lim Teng Chyuan testimony to the Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee
Medical insurance premiums rising by 40 to 70% caused public outcry. The Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee (PAC) conducted a series of engagements to investigate this issue. PAC summoned the pharmaceutical industry to a proceeding as witnesses on the subject of the healthcare insurance premium increase, hospital charges and the impact on public health, under the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health and Bank Negara Malaysia.
The proceeding was held on 6th March 2025 before the PAC, with Managing Director Lim Teng Chyuan giving testimony in his capacity as President of Malaysian Association of Pharmaceutical Suppliers (MAPS).
